Halloween Graveyard Pudding Cups
Let me begin this post my saying that I am not very crafty. I love looking at Pinterest for inspiration, pinning away like crazy. Weeks pass and I will look back at my pins and wonder, “What was I thinking? I’ll never make that!”
But this recipe seemed doable, even for me. When we were invited to a pumpkin carving party and needed to bring something, I thought I would try these Halloween Graveyard Pudding Cups.
They were so simple. Basically, they consist of pudding topped with crushed Oreos, a Milano cookie “tombstone” and a candy pumpkin.
The only time-consuming part was writing “RIP” on the Milanos. I found this handy Betty Crocker cookie icing product and it worked great.
Just leave some time for the icing to set before putting the Milanos upright in the cups (otherwise your letters will be runny).
And if you are making these ahead of time for a party, make sure you clear some space in your refrigerator to keep the cups cool until party time.
This recipe was adapted from the one found on the blog Six Sisters’ Stuff (one of my favorite sites!).

- Prepare pudding according to the directions.
- While the pudding is chilling, write "RIP" on the Milano cookies. This will give the frosting some time to set so the letters won't be runny (takes about 20 minutes to set).
- Put the Oreos in a clear plastic bag and seal. Use a rolling pin to crush the cookies. Set aside.
- Fold the Cool Whip into the pudding.
- Spoon the pudding mix into individual clear cups.
- Top with crushed Oreos. Place a Milano cookie in the crushed Oreos and add a pumpkin candy for garnish.
